CSIR UGC NET (Council of Scientific and Industrial Research - University Grants Commission - National Eligibility Test)

A student writes the CSIR UGC NET examination after completing a master's degree in a Science or Technology subject.

This examination is mainly conducted to determine eligibility for three opportunities:

Candidates with higher scores may become eligible for JRF, others may qualify for Assistant Professor positions and Ph.D. admissions.
