IBPS RRB Office Assistant

IBPS RRB Office Assistant (Multipurpose) is a recruitment exam conducted to select candidates for Office Assistant (Multipurpose) positions in participating Regional Rural Banks (RRBs).

The exam tests your skills in areas such as Reasoning, Numerical Ability, English/Hindi Language, General Awareness, and Computer Knowledge.

Phase 1: Preliminary Examination

  • Numerical Ability: 40 questions, 40 marks
  • Total: 80 questions, 80 marks, 45 minutes (composite time)

Phase 2: Main Examination

  • Reasoning: 40 questions, 50 marks
  • Computer Knowledge: 40 questions, 20 marks
  • General Awareness: 40 questions, 40 marks
  • English Language: 40 questions, 40 marks
  • Hindi Language: 40 questions, 40 marks
  • Numerical Ability: 40 questions, 50 marks
  • Total: 200 questions, 200 marks, 2 hours (composite time)

Language Choice: Candidates can choose either English Language or Hindi Language in the Main Examination.

Negative Marking:

  • 1/4th of the marks assigned to a question is deducted for each wrong answer in the objective tests.

Stage 1: Preliminary Examination

  • Candidates must qualify in the Preliminary Examination to be shortlisted for the Main Examination.

Stage 2: Main Examination

  • Candidates who qualify in the Preliminary Examination and are shortlisted will appear for the Main Examination.

Stage 3: Provisional Allotment

  • Candidates are provisionally allotted to a participating Regional Rural Bank based on their marks in the Main Examination, vacancies, merit, reservation rules, and other applicable conditions.

Final Appointment

  • Appointment is subject to fulfilment of eligibility criteria, document verification, identity verification, and completion of other requirements specified by the allotted Regional Rural Bank.
