NMIMS NPAT (National Test for Programs After Twelfth)

NMIMS NPAT is a university-level entrance exam for admission to various undergraduate programmes.

NPAT scores are accepted for admission to undergraduate programmes such as BBA, B.Com, B.Sc. Finance, B.Sc. Economics, BBA Branding & Advertising, BBA International Business, Liberal Arts, and several other courses offered by NMIMS.

📌 Quick Facts

Eligibility: Class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognized board.

Exam Pattern: Computer-Based Test (CBT) consisting of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).

Mode: Online (Computer-Based Test).

Total Questions: 120 Questions.

Frequency: Conducted once a year.

Qualification:

  • Must have passed or be appearing for the Class 12 (10+2) or equivalent examination from a recognized board.
  • Candidates appearing for their Class 12 board examinations are also eligible to apply, provided they meet the admission requirements after the results are declared.

Age:

  • Candidates should generally be 25 years of age or below at the time of admission.

Minimum Marks:

  • For the Exam: There is no minimum percentage required to appear for the NMIMS NPAT examination.
  • For Admission: The minimum Class 12 marks required vary depending on the programme. Some programmes also require Mathematics or Statistics as a compulsory subject.

Attempts:

  • You can take the NMIMS NPAT examination up to 3 times (1 first attempt + 2 retakes) during the admission year.
  • Note: The highest score among all your attempts is considered for preparing the merit list.

Nationality:

  • Indian, NRI, and foreign candidates can apply, subject to the admission rules of NMIMS.

Mode of Examination: Online (Computer-Based Test).

Question Type: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).

Duration: 100 Minutes (1 Hour 40 Minutes).

Frequency: Conducted once a year.

Total Questions: 120 Questions.

Total Marks: 120 Marks.

Sections:

  • Quantitative & Numerical Ability: 40 Questions (40 Marks).
  • Reasoning & General Intelligence: 40 Questions (40 Marks).
  • Proficiency in English: 40 Questions (40 Marks).

Marking Scheme:

  • Correct Answer: +1 Mark.
  • Incorrect Answer: 0 Marks (No negative marking).
  • Unattempted Question: 0 Marks.

Students who qualify through the NMIMS NPAT (National Test for Programs After Twelfth) can apply for various undergraduate programmes offered by NMIMS across its campuses.
