SET (Symbiosis Entrance Test)

SET is the entrance examination conducted by Symbiosis International (Deemed University) for admission to various undergraduate courses offered by its different institutes.

Qualification:

  • Must have passed Class 12 (10+2) or an equivalent examination from a recognized board.
  • Students appearing for their Class 12 board examinations can also apply.
  • Students from any stream (Science, Commerce, or Arts/Humanities) may apply, depending on the course requirements.

Age:

  • There is no upper age limit for the SET examination.

Min mark:

  • General Category: Usually 50% marks in Class 12 (may vary depending on the institute and course).
  • SC/ST Category: Usually 45% marks in Class 12 (may vary depending on the institute and course).

Attempts:

  • There is generally no restriction on the number of attempts.
  • Candidates can apply again in future admission cycles if they meet the eligibility requirements.

Mode: Online Computer-Based Test (CBT).

Frequency: Conducted once in a year with two test sessions(usually in May).

Duration: 60 Minutes.

  • Quantitative Aptitude: 16 Questions (16 Marks)

Marking Scheme:

  • +1 Mark for every correct answer.
  • No Negative Marking: No marks are deducted for incorrect answers.

Important: Candidates can appear for one or both test sessions. If both sessions are attempted, the higher score is considered for the final percentile calculation.
