Example: How Counselling Works

Suppose a student has completed Class 12 and wants to study B.Sc. Medical Laboratory Technology (B.Sc. MLT).

First, the student registers for counselling.

During counselling, the student chooses B.Sc. MLT and Government Medical College, Kozhikode as the preferred college.

The counselling authority checks the student's merit and whether the student is eligible to get admission to the Government Medical College, Kozhikode.

If the student is eligible, the authority then checks whether a seat is available in B.Sc. MLT at the chosen college.

If a seat is available and the student is allotted that seat and student can complete the admission process.
